About Pastor Dr. Manoj Thomas

Pastor Dr. Manoj Thomas has been serving as the Senior Pastor of Salem Assembly of God since July 2023. His ministry is marked by a deep commitment to biblical teaching, pastoral care, and community outreach.

Born and raised in Kerala, India, Pastor Thomas's journey in faith began early, accepting Jesus at age 11 and receiving water baptism at 15. His calling to ministry came at age 20, leading to extensive theological education. He holds a Bachelor's in Mathematics and Divinity, followed by a Master's in Theology from United Theological College, Bangalore, and later earned his Doctorate from Southern Methodist University, Dallas.

With over three decades of ministry experience across multiple continents, Pastor Thomas has served in various capacities. His journey includes serving as a faculty member at Faith Theological Seminary in India, working as a Bible School Teacher and Pastor in Northern India, serving as a full-time Pastor in Kuwait in 2004, and leading two churches in Toronto, Canada in 2011.

Pastor Thomas is blessed with a wonderful family who actively supports his ministry. He is married to Ancy, a registered social worker whose compassion and dedication complement their ministry. Together, they are blessed with two children: their son Philip and their daughter Hannah.

His ministry is built on three fundamental pillars:

Through his ministry, he strives to help people experience God's unconditional love and discover their divine purpose in Christ.
