Pastor Dr. Manoj Thomas is the Senior Pastor of Salem Assembly of God since July 2023.

Born and raised in a Christian Marthomite family in Kerala, India, Pastor Thomas accepted Jesus into his life at the age of 11 and received water baptism at 15. Answering the Lord's call, he devoted himself to full-time ministry at 20 after completing his graduation.

With over three decades of ministerial experience, Pastor Thomas has assumed various roles in Churches and organizations both in India and abroad. He served as a faculty member at Faith Theological Seminary, Manakala, India for several years, where he was once a student. Additionally, he was privileged to serve as a Bible School Teacher and Pastor in northern India.

In 2004, he initiated his overseas ministry by assuming the role of a full-time Pastor in the State of Kuwait. Subsequently, in 2011, he transitioned to Toronto, Canada, where he dedicated his service as a Pastor to two churches.

He holds two bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Divinity, a Master’s degree in Theology from United Theological College, Bangalore, India, and a Doctorate from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, TX.

His passion for missions aligns with his deep commitment to the 'Great Commission.' In the areas of pastoral care, leading worship, preaching, teaching, Pastor Thomas humbly seeks to connect with individuals of all ages. He aspires to draw others deeper into the realm of God’s unconditional love through both his words and actions.

He is married to Ancy, a registered social worker, and they are blessed with two wonderful children, Philip, and Hannah.
